RECRUITER POV

PRIVACY, IN PLAIN ENGLISH.

What we process

When you run a scan or Studio rebuild, Recruiter POV sends your selected market, target role, optional experience level, resume text, and any job description you supply to the configured AI provider so it can generate the report. In the standard configuration, that provider is Google Gemini. Google’s own data handling and retention terms also apply.

Account data

If you sign up, Supabase Auth stores your email and session records. Our account profile stores your optional first name, selected market, consent choice, signup time, campaign parameters, landing path, and referring hostname. Marketing consent is optional and separate from account emails. We do not put resume text, job-description text, or generated reports in the account database.

Resume uploads

PDF, DOCX, TXT, and MD uploads are size- and format-checked, read in memory to extract text, and not intentionally saved by the application. Extracted text is placed in the form for you to review before analysis. Image-only PDFs may need OCR before the app can read them.

Optional identified usage analytics

If the browser detects one or more email addresses in the resume text, it can show them to you beside an unchecked consent box. If you explicitly opt in, we store only the selected lowercase email address, your consent time, scan count, first- and last-seen times, and basic campaign attribution. This lets Auvra, Inc recognize repeat use and measure product engagement. Extraction happens in your browser; the collection endpoint does not receive the resume. The email address is unique in our database, so later scans update the same record instead of creating duplicates. This analytics opt-in does not create an account or subscribe you to marketing.

What we do not store

This application does not intentionally persist raw resumes, uploaded files, job descriptions, or report history in its database. If you choose identified usage analytics, only the selected email and analytics metadata described above are stored. The browser keeps the current result in session storage. Purchase-return data may remain in browser storage so paid access can be restored.

Free-scan limits

A signed, HTTP-only browser cookie records a random browser identifier and short one-way hashes for up to ten distinct resume scans. It does not contain resume text. We also apply network abuse limits using a keyed hash of the connecting IP address; this application does not retain the raw address in its rate-limit buckets. Clearing cookies may remove browser state but does not guarantee a fresh network allowance.

Payments and lifetime access

Stripe processes the one-time payment and enforces promotion-code expiration and redemption limits. We send Stripe the purchase details needed for checkout, not your resume text or its hash. After verification, the server issues a signed, HTTP-only browser cookie for lifetime access, and the browser keeps the private Checkout Session ID so access can be re-verified.

Analytics

We use product events and aggregate traffic data to understand landing visits, signups, scans, errors, result views, card downloads, shares, checkout starts, verified purchases, and lifetime reuse. Event properties never include resume text or contact information. UTM values and referring hostnames may be used for campaign attribution.

Sharing

Sharing is always initiated by you. Downloadable cards and suggested captions use a privacy-safe summary and exclude names, employers, contact information, links, and original resume excerpts. Recruiter POV does not create public resume links. When you choose a social network, that network’s own privacy terms apply.

Security and limits

Inputs and files are validated and size-limited, privileged keys remain server-side, sessions use secure cookies, and sensitive responses are not cached. Routes are rate-limited. No internet service can promise absolute security. Avoid submitting information you do not want processed by Google Gemini.
